Sitting down on the stool, I could see only the bottom third of my face. But after my handy husband adjusted the hinge on the side, I am able to see my entire head. (By the way, my husband forced me to write this review so that everyone with, or considering, this item will know that you just need to move the two screws on the bottom hinge in order to see your whole face.) There are two hole marks visible now, but it doesn't bother me, especially since the top closes shut. The seat is much better looking in person. And it can be easily re-covered if you don't like the beige microfiber cloth it comes with. 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Fantastic Product By L. Bennett I bought this as a gift and she absolutely loved it! Clean lines, functionality and rich cappuccino finish made this an excellent gift. It arrived when stated with no visible signs of damage It was easy to put together, about 45 mins total. It's not top notch quality but after having it for a year, all the maintenance that was needed was a little furniture polish every now and then. She uses it every day! Light enough for one person to carry. Dimensions are 16Wx40Lx29.5H unlike advertised. Mostly made of solid wood but some particle board. Legs are solid wood. Drawers are not on tracks so they don't slide in and out very smoothly. Bench is comfortable. As other reviewers have said, I can't see my whole face when I look in the mirror.
