While moving it a leg broke off. Had the same problem with the stools and had to toss them. Becaused it wont be moved again it has been fixed and there are no other problems. Legs should not fall off of correctly assembled furniture. I was disappointed that this happened but decided on keeping it after placing these orders online and did not want to go through the hassle of boxing it back up and returning it. It arrived a week before they said it would, was very well packaged with all parts and hardware intact. It was very easy to put together and looks just as the picture showed. The quality was what I expected, it is made of metal tubes that are pretty sturdy. By BugaBoo When we were looking for these types of furniture for my daughter, we were not so sure about spending a lot of money since we do move often and things usually don't survive the move. So we looked for something within our price range but figured it wouldn't be really sturdy. Surprisingly, this one is quite sturdy for the price. It is made of compressed woods but the little support pieces here and there are solid wood and the white paint finish is nice, and the legs for the stool is angled out so it doesn't topple over easily the mirror is plexy glass so it has slightly warped effect when you look at it, but it's good enough for my daughter (1.5 yr old). She loves to sit on it and comb her hair and put all her hair stuff in the drawer. The drawer is built so that it doesn't just fall out and drop on the floor - whoever designed this actually put some thought into it. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. Being white color also makes it easy to change colors if I ever wanted to paint it or something. I anticipate that my daughter will be able to use this at least till 4 year old without a problem, not sure how tall she'd be, so I'm not sure if she can use it past four years old or not yet. I can't imagine paying $400 for this. It is a nice peice of furniture, and well work $100 or even $200, but not $400. Regardless, it seems a bit small but is perfect for my 7yr old daughter and I imagine it will be fine as she grows into an adult. Assembly is very easy and I added some Elmers glue to the joints to ensure that the legs stay on solidly. The cover on the seat seems exceptionally nice. That's exactly what we wanted and works perfectly in the room with my teenage daughter. Very nice and sturdy and are easy to clean. The instructions were not easy to follow and the parts were not marked. It took a while labeling the parts before you start putting up the points together and I think it helped to go faster. It took about 45 minutes to assemble. Be careful - we put the mirror before putting on glass plates and it was heavy and she turned and broken mirror a little, but not so much singing. Picture do not do it justice Wifey I have this vanity / desk for a few days ago and put it together this weekend. I love it! I was afraid it was kind of cheap, but it was the exact opposite. Very nice and beautiful, without petty or exaggerated. It was so easy to put together how I thought my husband would well.I to help me better than he usually meets on things, but I have it all from me. Sitting down on the stool, I could see only the bottom third of my face. But after my handy husband adjusted the hinge on the side, I am able to see my entire head. (By the way, my husband forced me to write this review so that everyone with, or considering, this item will know that you just need to move the two screws on the bottom hinge in order to see your whole face.) There are two hole marks visible now, but it doesn't bother me, especially since the top closes shut. The seat is much better looking in person. Light enough for one person to carry. Dimensions are 16Wx40Lx29.5H unlike advertised. Mostly made of solid wood but some particle board. Legs are solid wood. Drawers are not on tracks so they don't slide in and out very smoothly. Bench is comfortable. As other reviewers have said, I can't see my whole face when I look in the mirror. More than satisfied with the purchase of Melissa Phipps I was a little Leary about buying this product based on other reviews, but after receiving one of two boxes, I am more than happy that I have a chance and bought this vanity set. There are more than yellow cream, but it's a nice color (I would describe it more as a wheat color) After looking at 100 of these vanities had been value for money and will grow with my daughter. Horrible product, dealer was worse by 2yellowlabs This product has been damaged and he seemed very cheesy We ask for Christmas, Christmas Eve arrived. We had to drive, but taking everything out of the box was damaged overused very complicated and we discovered that the end pieces are distributed. We have contacted the seller and has very little response (only e-mails) and he was a bad or broken English grammar. They would not provide a phone # and do not call us as our own. I suggest you open the box immediately after arrival. Two pieces were broken and the company's website did not mention this or similar to the numbered instructions. No one is available in customer service. Too expensive for poor packaging and lack of support. There is one page attachment to the instructions that states in bold four times, "Please, let us help." Do not believe it. I will send them back and go for a Pottery Barn. Update 12/23/10 - two of three broken parts were delivered. Third part is unavailable. I shared a private bathroom with 2 or 3 other girls, and it was very difficult to get dressed in the morning because we wanted all the light and mirror. I ended up wanting a vanity, but has no money or space for one. I ended up getting a full length mirror and it worked fine. I finally saved up the money and I did tons of research to ensure I would be one that could fit and one that was a nice quality. I did not want one that looked like cheating and would fall apart. It took me a while but I finally decided that this was the vanity for me. I was very pleased when I put together vanity. E 'greater than the standard vanity drawer, but not too big and clumsy. I have not looked at height, but it is high. I have enough space between me and the vanity and is as close as I need and is very tough, mainly made of real wood, so it's very solid. I bought from Amazon and I was glad I did. The packaging was not the best for the part of the vanity. Everything else had its own big box and packing. But vanity itself. The first one I got was dented at the front and I was not happy. I called Amazon and was immediately a new one. I picked up two days later. :) It was perfect and I love my vanity. I can not wait for the strength to face my vanity, not to fight for the mirror. The bottom drawers were on the front. But that was easily solved with some glue. It seems that the glue is dry, not as careful shipping, it came loose. Not something I liked how easy it was to solve and what would have happened over time. Quality furniture Mechant OK if you are looking for a good quality vanity for your special little girl, look no further. I knew I would not want one of those bulky plastic, STEP2, products, so I looked and found this. The shipment was fast. You have installed the vanity, but it was made very easy and very good. Jodi S Crubaugh I bought this dresser, so I would not be crammed with my husband in a corner while getting ready for work. It was just the right size to fit into my bathroom and me "my space" while getting ready. My daughter loves this table! She prefers her to a much larger more expensive antique dressing table.
